Field Day Outing August 11, 2024
Today was the annual Field Day Outing. It is an annual event to get members together to socialize and shoot, and bring in nonmembers who might be interested in learning more about the Black River Rod & Gun Club. The weather was absolutely perfect, not to hot, not too cool, and there weren't any bugs to speak of. The food was delicious, from the hotdogs, hamburgers, and corn on the cob cooked on the grill by Nils and his crew, to the wide variety of salads and desserts made and donated by the members and their families. For an event like this to come off, it takes a village of volunteers. From my perspective, everything ran smoothly and everyone was having a great time!
